Balluff’s new IO-Link masters designed specifically for integrating a variety of Smart IO-Link devices for sensing, measurement, identification and actuation. These masters are available for industry leading networks based on PROFINET and EtherNet/IP.

With 4x Type A (Class A) IO-Link master ports, and 4x Type B (Class B) IO-Link master ports, this master offers flexibility to add multitude of devices even the ones that require isolated output (aux) power. Industry leading T-coded M12 power connection simplifies power routing along with offering high amperage capacity. The masters are rated for maximum of 9A of output power, with up to 2A per channel sufficient to drive larger ampacity hydraulics or pneumatics valves and robotic grippers.

With built-in network switches, enhanced full service webservers, and the availability of JSON formatted IO-Link device data, these Device Integration masters are ready for IIoT Condition Monitoring applications.

The addition of these masters in Balluff portfolio strengthen the IO-Link market leader’s offering of IO-Link masters to offer flexibility to its customers of designing of their controls architectures.
