Barnum Donates over $10K in Products to Local Robotics Team
(Brighton, MI) — H.H. Barnum’s new initiative, Barnum Reach, has made its first donation to the Brighton Robotics Team.
H.H. Barnum, a Brighton-based distributor of controls for factory automation, recently donated over $10,000 worth of products to the Brighton Robotics Team. The in-kind donation consisted of a pallet of innovative products that will be used for educational training, future competitions, and will provide the Brighton Robotics Team with exposure to the latest automation products being used globally.
“The donation and connection to H.H. Barnum gives students unique access to products and knowledge normally not available in classes,” said Nathan Hogge, head coach of the Brighton Robotics Team. “It also gives our team more options to be creative on how we design, construct, and compete with our robot this year.”
The delivery of this donation on August 25th marked the launch of Barnum Reach, an initiative dedicated to reaching out and giving back to high school and college robotics programs.
Hogge also added that, “Our students recently started incorporating pneumatics into our robot and are excited to see how they can expand on creating a world class competition robot with the help of H.H. Barnum’s donation. Thank you!”
